How To Make Healthy Almond Flour Pancakes:

  1. To make the batter, combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk intensely. The batter should be runnier than regular pancake batter.
  2. Check to see if the skillet is hot. Allow time for the skillet to preheat so that the pancake batter gently sizzles and sets as soon as it touches it.
  3. Cook for 2 minutes on either side and flip until the tops become dry and bubbles emerge – peek underneath for pleasant colour. Pancakes will burn if this is not done.
  4. A dash of cinnamon and pure vanilla extract would go well as always.
  5. Add banana, strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries on topple as topping with some little bit extra maple syrup if desired.

Cooking Tips

Almonds are also abundant in unsaturated fat, which is the healthiest type of fat. We don’t need to add as much fat to the batter because of the greater fat level. However, because almond flour is gluten-free, additional eggs are required to bind the dough. I tried cooking these healthy almond flour pancakes without eggs and they just fell apart so make sure you don’t forget the egg.
